American Spirit packs roughly a third more tobacco into the same paper, and the result is a stick that takes twice as long to smoke and tastes purely of leaf: no casing, no sweetness, just dry Virginia.

Additive-free does not mean safer, and the brand has been fined for implying otherwise. As a smoke, it is honest and unusually pure.
